By Grace Disabled and Orphans Centre is based outside of the Kenyan
capital city of Nairobi. It is situated on the eastward part of Nairobi at
the heart of the sprawling Kayole estate in Embakasi Division. By Grace
Disabled and Orphans Centre is supported by Bright Future Foundation.
Bright Future Foundation supports the work of the By Grace Disabled &
Orphans Centre by providing funding for desperately needed food, water,
rent, teacher’s stipends, school supplies, books, clothing, school uniforms,
and health care. In addition, the Bright Future Foundation sends
international volunteers to By Grace to teach and support the children.
You can make a difference in the life of a child by volunteering your time
and kindness to children at our orphanage ages 2yrs to 17yrs. We offer
volunteer times that are flexible and can be arranged according to your
availability and preferences, (you can volunteer from 2 weeks to 12wks)
Volunteers take part in a variety of activities such as teaching, reading,
arts and crafts, playing games and sports. You will stay with a warm caring
host family who will give you comfortable accommodations, three meals a
day, and the opportunity to learn the culture and form life long
friendships. It will definitely be a trip of a lifetime! We would love to
have you visit and help us make brighter futures for children in Africa.
