Orphans for Christ in Africa

Orphans for Christ in Africa (OCA) is a notfor-profit childcare Non Governmental Organization (NGO) with a purpose to provide holistic care and support to HIV/AIDS orphans, vulnerable disadvantaged children and youth, widows and their communities in Uganda. We seek to provide education, educational sponsorships, shelter, feeding programs, healthcare, life skills and vocational training, HIV/AIDS care and support, and spiritual nourishment to orphans, vulnerable disadvantaged children of school age, 3-17 years, and disadvantaged youth 18-24 years, both boys and girls.

We seeks to work in partnership with individuals, families, communities, churches, other organisations to implement child-focused, community oriented programs and projects that benefit entire communities.

For only $1 a day, you can provide an orphan with food, clothing, healthcare and an education.

We also provide short-term and long-atern volunteer/ mission opportunities all year round. We are inviting short-term/long-term volunteers, mission /work teams & groups, families and individuals to come and help in orphanenages and children's homes, schools and youth centers at any time of the year, all year round.

Short-term volunteer programs is between two (2) weeks and six (6) months and long-term volunteer programs can be anything betweeb 6 months and 18 months, and is scheduled all year round.

Orphans for Christ in Africa handles all local travel and accommodation arrangements (transport to and from the airport, hotel bookings, housing arrangements, ground transportation from and to the Airport, arranges of meetings and work schedules).
