was born in Melim (Kumbo), 30 minutes drive from the capital city of Bui
Division. He resides in a small house with guardian single mother, Mbinkar
Suiven Julinda. The mother is a host to many other orphans in the locality.
However, what he gets is not enough to maintain and educate Jude and the
children. She has no other means of supplementing the income to take care of
these children. Jude comes from the Nso ethnic group and he belongs to the
Catholic religion. Jude is in a primary school, due to his conditionand that of
the guardian, he is facing problems going to school because they cannot afford
his education materials and annual fees. He enjoys running errands and loves
playing with his age groups. He is healthy and active boy. Your kind assistance

footed and at times with slippers. He lives in thatched shelter with a single
guardian mother, Mbinkar Suiven Julinda that carter for many other orphans or
underprivileged children in the same situation. He has known only poverty since
he was born because he did not have the opportunity to see his father, his
mother died when he was only 6 years old. Jude Berinyuy drinks water from the
running stream, uses the farms as his toilet as every person does. They uses
kerosene lantern for an hour just to read and then sleep in the dark. When he is
sick, he is taken to the herbalist for treatment or will be given drugs bought
from streets because of lack of means to go to the hospital. As a subsistent
farmer, Miss Mbinkar Suiven Julinda who is their guardian mother, what she
harvests from the farm is what they cook to eat; they eat mostly without oil in
their food, no good food, and no means of income financially. She depends only
on well-wishers and the people of good will to help her. As of now, Jude has not
started school, as schools are re-opened all over the country. All because he is
not able to buy his books, uniform and pay his fees, the same case with other 17
underprivileged children she has in her home now. Jude is a Nso by tribe and a
Catholic Christian by religion. Sponsorship however will bring significant
change to the life of Jude.
