SOS
Children is the world’s largest orphan charity. Our children’s charity
believes all children should belong to a family which is why we build villages
for children in need, help them shape their own futures and share in the
development of their communities. Sponsors and donors support our work caring for over 60,000 children
currently live in our 450 unique SOS Children’s Villages in 123 countries – we
work in over 35 countries in Europe. Children who are alone; orphaned or
abandoned through Aids orphans, street children, child soldiers and children
orphaned by war, poverty or natural disasters. Thanks to SOS schools and
skills training, children are able to become successful contributing members
of society. We run programmes supporting a further million in the community
through vital medical aid, training and counseling which helps to keep
families together and help prevent child abandonment.

And ensures we are able to help give children a family for life
