Good Samaritan Lwanda Children's Home Orphanage 

Nearly everyone has heard of Mother Teresa of Calcutta who is known worldwide for her work among the dying.  Few, however, have heard of our Mother Teresa of Kenya. Teresa is the administrator of one of Hearth to Hearth Ministries' orphanages near Homa Bay, Kenya.  This orphanage started when thirty-one children were brought to Hope for Children Center in March 2005, by the Kenyan government.                  (16pts)

The purpose of this website is to help as many orphans as possible by promoting the orphanages that care for them.  The organizations that run these orphanages can help more orphans by promoting this website and the other orphanage websites we feature.   Each month we will feature on the home page the orphanages that show they are doing the most to raise awareness of the needs of orphanages around the world.  The Orphanages with the most points will be featured each month based on the points that were turned in by the 25th of the previous month.  This system will evolve over time but for now points will be awarded as follows.
